NUT Industrial Action

We have been informed by the National Union of Teachers that they expect to be taking industrial action in the form of a strike on Tuesday 5th July. This action is not against the school itself but is part of national industrial action.

A letter has been sent home with students explaining that on the 5th July, the school will be closed for Y7, Y8 and Y9 students only.

The Y8 and Y10 students involved in Y6 transition activities do need to attend as normal and Y10 will continue on their work experience as planned. Y11 and Y13 will not need to attend school as they are on study leave.

Y12 should attend school as normal.
