What is the course structure?

Key Stage 3 uses a range of teaching and learning styles are used to engage and challenge learners of all abilities. In Geography learners study a wide range of both physical and human geography topics.

What will I study?

  • Fieldwork

 

At the end of Year 7 we also offer all learners the opportunity to experience an onsite fieldwork activity, investigating the impact Kenton School has on the environment.


Year 8

  • Asia Country Study (China)

  • Coasts

  • Map Skills

 

In the spring of Year 8 we offer all learners the opportunity to experience a residential visit to the Lake District Field Studies Council centre where they will undertake a range of outdoor activities and environmental work, a visit which proves memorable for all those who partake.
