What is the course structure?
This qualification is linear. Linear means that learners will sit all their exams and submit all their non-exam assessment at the end of the course. It is compulsory for all learners studying dance at Kenton to audition for and to take part in the Kenton School productions and The Shadow Lounge (our annual dance showcase at Dance City). We are fortunate at Kenton to be able to offer our learners opportunities to work with a variety of dance professionals based in the North East along with a wide range of performance opportunities held in professional venues. These opportunities not only help our learners to develop as aspiring dance artists but also help them to progress on to further or higher education courses in Dance.
