A2 Level: Unit 3
Learners will study Human Relationships, Aggression and Gender Development. The aim is to develop knowledge, understanding and the skills of analysis and evaluation in relation to relevant theories and studies in each of the three topics studied.
A2 Level: Unit 4
A: Psychopathology
Learners will develop knowledge and understanding of Schizophrenia. Learners will be expected to apply knowledge and understanding of models, classification and diagnosis to this disorder.
B: Psychology in Action
Learners develop knowledge, understanding and critical thinking in relation to media psychology. They also study Psychological Research & Scientific Method.
C: Psychological Research & Scientific Method
How is the course assessed?
AS Level: Two exams both are 1 hour and 30 minutes.
A2 Level: Unit 3 has three essay-style questions and is 1 hour and 30 minutes. Unit 4 has a choice of questions and is 2 hours long.
